NO AGE FOR THIS

I have no age for this, he mumbles to himself while looking at the purple spot of his neck in the mirror. He touches it, draws small circles on it with his finger. Then, he places both his hands in his face, is he trying to recognize himself? We don't know. We only know that at this moment he feels he has no age for this, and this is the hicky she made upon his neck. We don't know when or if he had a similar spot in the past. We do know that his wife had never done one on him, we know it because he says it: My wife never did this on me. He stays in front of the mirror, he stares in front of the mirror and suddenly it's 9 am.

While he drives to his office he repeats the line as a mantra: I have no age for this, and then he adds, why would she do something like this? We don't know if he is talking about the purple spot or about the whole thing. We do know that the whole thing is the affair they have been having for the last two weeks. We have seen them at bars and cafes, he looking like a father she looking like a daughter. Passion in public places is unseen. Passion in private places leaves purple spots on somene's neck.

I have no age for this, she tells her friends who share the same class in the same high school. Before friends agree she buts... but I can't help him, I like him SO much (yes she says so in capital letters). Last night, last night a kissed him, I bit him, I even made him a hicky. Her friends say Wow but keep to themselves the word "disgusting", she seems happy after all. Yes, I look like a daughter but I am not and he is not married and he is alone and he loves me as I love him... the shine in her face, pales... she adds: but I have no age for this, passion in public places, passion in private places, purple spots on someone`s neck, that's what she has no age for. Or so she thinks.
